EBIO at Faraday Discussion Conference

Talal Ashraf presented his work during the Faraday Discussion Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland, which took place from July 12-14th, 2023. Talal demonstrated an application of Boron-Doped Diamond (BDD) electrodes, showcasing their potential to enhance pyrolysis oil components. What’s more, this work introduced an exciting dimension by incorporating platinum nanoparticles and thin layers, resulting in a significant alteration in the selectivity of the Kolbe reaction.

This research was conducted within the context of EBIO, a dedicated consortium playing a pivotal role in electrochemical upgradation of bio-oil.
If you’re interested in learning more about this remarkable work or exploring potential collaboration opportunities, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Talal. Let’s continue to drive scientific progress together!
